Definitely going to keep an eye on the price of the Panasonic 32" TV. From the picture it looks like it will be the TX-32LMD70 on offer. Not ideal as I would prefer the LXD70, but if the price is right...

Are they the only products or will more appear tomorrow?
No idea Ian, the mail they sent us just stated - Price Crash Products - so I get the impression that they are the only products but I could be wrong.
mmm...now I wonder if the item that has 60% off will be the Norton Security software  ;)

i've noticed more and more stores advertising 75% off in huge letters in the window, when you get closer it says up to in tiny letters and when you get in there there's naff all at 75% off, oh we've sold out of those :oh-hum:

:?:
IIRC the last time they had a price crash, they had £250 off a Sony LCD.

You mean the same TV that could be had at the same price elsewhere? Hardly a crash. And as I remember that was the only 'bargin' there was.

Ah, OK.
And as I remember that was the only 'bargin' there was.
If it happens again today with the Panny LCD (which as mentioned above looks like the LMD70) I'd be more than happy :) ... as long as the discount was more than 20% - otherwise I might as well use the the staff discount from my father-in-law.
Thanks OP - will check it out at midday... bit frustrating that their site doesn't list what's going to be on offer (or even show just a piccie) but that's life I guess.
I'm interested in the Netgear gubbins - wonder if it will be a model suitable for use with VM Broadband?

The OP states that the offer includes a 32" Panny LCD (which is the only sale item I am possibly interested in). Comet's website only sells 2 of these so it's 50/50 as to which one it's going to be :)

You mean the telly that was a good £60 less than it was available anywhere else on that day.
Granted you can now buy it cheaper but that is because Sony have cut their prices on May 1st (as new models are out June / July time)

Dire offers again. Is the iPod speaker thing much cop?
its not a crash like youd normally expect, a HGV ploughing into a ford fiesta, more of a motorised wheelchair, in first gear, up a hill, hitting a piece of debris on the floor :(

Bugger. Items can't be collected from a store and vouchers can't be used online either :(
Mind you, the Panny was only a £40 saving compared to the staff discount anyway.

Couldn't have put it better myself! Although, must say I wasn't expecting much to begin with...

The 500GB hard drive is £90, not a bad price, probably the cheapest around but I'd rather pay the £10 and get a Western Digital one.
BTW you have to enter a code to get the HD at the discounted price.

Aldi has a 500GB external SATA HDD up for sale on Thursday for £89.99, by the way.

It's an E-SATA one too! Very interesting, I take it E-SATA hard drives still need external power?

Yes you will need external power.
Be warned a simple pci plate converting an internal sata port to an eSata port may not work.
I have 2 Thecus 2050 eSata drives, and no matter what I tried, they refused to work with my internal ports, either via a sata->esata cable or using a converter pci plate. I ended up buying an eSata PCI-x card from Ebay from someone in HK, now they both work fine - and very very fast, infact faster than my internal drives.
mike
Bargain and I use that word very loosely, over.
