Hi,
Just in the process of having my garage converted into a study. Going to have a PC in there connected to a 17inch monitor for work and PC gaming (Mainly Pro Ev Soccer).
I'm thinking about wall mounting a 32" LCD in the new room too for watching football on when the Mrs kicks me out of the lounge and also for my PC gaming. May also use the PC's DVD drive for watching DVD's.
I'm after recommendations for a suitable LCD TV that will have good picture quality for both Freeview and from my PC. Also going to run some coax from my Sky box so I can watch Sky too (already have a Sky eye so can change channels without having to go to the lounge).
My PC graphics card has VGA (which I'll use for the 17" monitor) and a DVI connection. I was thinking of buying a DVI - HDMI cable to connect to the new LCD.
Most I want to spend is around £800 including the wall mountings.
I quite fancy the Panasonic TX-32LXD70 but I read an post on avforums.com that said the DVI-HDMI doesn't work on this panel (with no further explanation).
Any recommendations welcome from anyone that uses a 32" LCD for watching TV and PC connectivity.
