[HEADS UP] Ghosts - a Nick Broomfield film - More 4 - Tonight 10pm

This only got a dvd release a week or so ago and I see that More 4 are showing it tonight at 10pm.

For anyone that doesn't know it's about the chinese cocklepickers that drowned on Morecombe Bay and about modern day slavery.

Supposed to be very good though heartbreaking and harsh.

Just watched this and thought it was excellent but very sad at the same time :(

I'm not a massive fan of Broomfield but he done a great job, showing the illegal immigrant lives as is rather than trying to create an emotionally manipulative film, which serves the story well.

It's repeated again on Saturday so i'd definitely recommend checking it out, or even better get a hold of the dvd as I found the breaks kept intruding on the docu-drama feel.
