Not me. If the US season 1 boxset isn't 16:9, I'll probably get it, but then the R1 will probably be cheaper anyway, so no R2 Angel here.

Nope, still holding off myself :)

Will be a long wait for the R1 disks tho, so i'm not sure if i'll last the distance :D

Not me.

I'm happy to hold out for the US release, and may even forego further UK Angel and Buffy box-sets in favour of the Region 1 NTSC 16x9 anamorphic versions.

I didn't. 1st season is cacky overall. I'd only buy it if it was cheap.

Well they have scheduled sason 2 of buffy for release in 4 months time, if they continue this with seasons 3 & 4, that should see Angel season 1 released in about a years time.

Hopefully Fox will release this in widescreen, their next release of the X-Files is in W/S, which was the first season that was filmed in W/S, so hopefully they will follow suit with Angel.

I did! And i'm glad i did. I've really enjoyed it (i'd never seen it before). Me and all my house mates have been watching at various times. This box set has certainly given value for money so far.
