I fully appreciate this must have been doen tooo many times but with the search facility being disabled I have no other option.

Suddenly got back into music for some reason and metal especially . I want to buy a truck load of discs and am obviously after the best price.

Thanks in advance - I know it is irritating to repeat posts but you would be doing me a big favour :)

www.play247.com for new stuff

www.101cd.com for new and old stuff - they also have a lot for £4.99/£5.99 which is handy for updating records/tapes, like I've been doing with my metal/rock collection:cool:

Register with Safedoor and you'll get a £5 voucher to spend at 101cd:cool:

Why is it so important that CD-WOW are UK based? All the CD's are sent individually, so no customs problems.

Anyhow, all their CD's are shipped from Hong Kong or Germany, so accounts for why they're so cheap I guess. You won't get any of those so-called UK special edition CD's but that's no great loss looking at some of them in the shops.

Go ahead and order. Even if a case gets broken in transit they'll replace it for nothing and you can't really beat them.

CD-Wow headquarters are UK based but the CD's are sourced from Hong Kong and Germany so they ship from there. But don't worry about customs as they split the order up into seperate parcels. Takes about 5 days from shipping notice.

Just check the tracklisting before you order from CDWow. Sometimes they don't have the extra tracks that some UK discs have.

CDWOW are quicker than most UK suppliers. I've ordered stuff friday night which has been delivered monday morning. I can't fault them.

And not usually worth paying for. :(

Good thing about some of the Hong Kong issues is that sometimes they bring out their own special editions with a second disc that's actually a VCD with a few videos on it. Can't imagine the UK distributors bothering to make that kind of effort. :(
