I want to get Apollo13 and i know that on the reg 1 version there is a documentary that is not on the reg 2 or 4 versions.
Unfortunately the reg 1 seems pretty expensive from most of the usual reg1 suppliers, the reg 2 and particularly the reg4 can be picked up pretty cheaply.

So is it really worth shelling out the extra for the region1 and the additional documentary or am i not really missing much ?

It's an interesting docco, but the R1 DTS (full b/r) beats the lot.

Depends just how cheap the R2 or R4 is, I've seen the R1 for just over £17 at DVD Box Office.

I'm not really interested in the DTS version, i believe that the documentary is not included in the DTS version.
You can get the reg 4 from Ezy dvd for about £7.50 delivered so that makes the documentary pretty expensive !

I got the R1 with the docu from Future Entertainment for £12.99.

This was around 6 months ago, though, so I'm not sure if they still have it in their cheap section. It wasn't in stock when I ordered it either, and I had to wait about 4-5 weeks for it to arrive!

But it was the cheapest I could find it and the docu is really very good.

I'm pretty sure the docu was the same as the one on the PAL *cough* VHS video, you could probably pick this up on the cheap from somewhere & then get the R2 dvd for the film itself.
