Anyone else heard this? I'm still getting my head round it, but initial few listens suggest a fine album. He sounds a little bit like Richard Ashcroft, only good. ;)

Just played this for the first time. I meant to buy it years ago but didn't.

Picked it up recently as a result of the advert using it reminding me of it's existence!

I have to say it's a quality piece of work. The songwriting and musicianship is of the highest quality.

It's been a while since I've been genuinely moved by a piece of music but this did the trick.

I see what you mean re RA vocally. Also echoes of Dylan, Waites and Reed.

Couldn't recommend this record enough!

Don't listen to this guy much now, but I do keep Sun'll Rise (from the Blue Balearic comp) on my ipod... Tis a good tune. :)
