Hi,

Does "Moulin Rouge!" R4 suffer from the PAL Speedup ?

Yes - being in PAL, it does.

I think the only way you wouldn't get PAL speedup is by transferring an NTSC master to PAL, but the drawbacks are obvious.

I have to say i've never experienced this speedup on PAL dvds until i heard the Lady Marmalade video on the R4. It sounded really high which was a little disconcerting. Probably because i've heard it to death i could notice the difference.

I didn't notice it on the film itself as partly i was too engrossed in the story and i'd never heard it before.
