Hi,

Appreciate this has probably been done to death but with ever changing prices and technology would appreciate some expert advice.

I'm looking for a small digital camera - by small I mean one that would fit in pocket.

I'm not an avid photographer so also looking for something that's not too hard to use :)

Budget is £200 or less - could stretch this a little if there was a must have camera a little over.

Have seen the Fuji F30 which looks OK (maybe a little big?)

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Fuji F31. Excellent little camera, very good in low light and nice and compact.
Can be had for around £180-190.

Thanks ... will have a look at that one.

Ideally looking for one with a good battery life.

and the F31 is now bought :)

Just need to spend the next few hours reading the instructions ... pretty compex for a novice.

Anyone got any quick tips for this camera?

Amazon (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000L9SCIW/thedvdforums-21) have the F31fd for £164.55 delivered. It seems the prices of the F20/F30/F31fd are shuffling down a bit since the release the F40.

By the way, there is a whole forum devoted to Fuji non SLR cameras on DPReview (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1012).

Update: ....Or courtesy of the Bargain forum (http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=469637), refurbished f31fd for £135.53 delivered.

Thanks rwniel - have bought the camera so a little late for the bargain forums deal - didn't do too bad though.

Will check out the forum you posted - many thanks
