problem with Sky remote

Hi,,I have recently bought a new TV its a JVC HV28P37 / with COMPONENT INPUTS / HD 1080i,Iv connected it to my sky system using a 21 pin scart lead,but the sky remote controll wont work the volume on my TV set,,It used to work with my old Sony Trinitron TV,do I have to put the remote into some sort of learning proccess or could the tv have a faulty scart input,,but there again iv tried it on the other 2 scart inputs,,if anyone could help please do as im loosing the plot with it,,lol

It sounds as though you need to re-program your remote for use with your new Television, try these sites:

Hi,,thanks for your help,,20 mins&it works again,,one of the links said press &hold red button on ur sky remote which takes you to the interactive,,then green button,,then you just scroll down to set your remote,,that goes to another screen where it goes through it with you,,thanks for pointing me in the right direction,,
