Hello. Well, i have a proline DVD which was hacked anyway. I brought some Region one DVD's which are black and white because of the TV or something. Anyway, i read i need a multistandard TV. If you live in the UK and bought one, where did u get it from?

Thank You! :)

What you need is a TV that can decode NTSC pictures as well as PAL. NTSC is the format they use in America, and Canada. Most if televisions can now play NTSC and PAL, just check the specs or ask the sales person.

a quick word of warning.

be carefull to check when buying your "multi-standard" tv that this term actually covers NTSC. as when i bought my tv a few years back i checked to see if it was multi-standard because i needed an NTSC signal for my games console. it was indeed multi-standard, but, this multi-standard term actually meant it was capeable of accepting various signals from europe and not NTSC.

Well, i had a look for that PAL 60 thing or whatever and i don't think i have it. I looked on the DVD and in the booklet but no luck. I heard you can buy a box to change the signals or something but they are quite expensive. I mean, who's to say i don't buy a box and then my TV explodes (if you get me)
