"If only there were more house hold products like the Blue Glow Brick…something that looks cool in any room and also helps save the environment!

This ingenious gadget is a funky looking light made from a real light bulb that has been encased in a crystal-clear block. Not only is it sleek and modern in design, but it is a smart little cookie too. This intelligent nightlight absorbs natural daylight all day long while you’re out and stores it up to use later. When night time falls the Blue Glow Brick emits an eerie but beautiful glow that will give any room in your house a gentle ambience. But best of all, this cool nightlight costs you absolutely nothing to run!!

The Blue Glow Brick is a fantastically fun tongue-in-cheek design that will raise a smile all round!

This fun gadget is a great gift for kids as it doubles as a handy nightlight for them to drift off to sleep with. The best part about using this as a nightlight is that the Blue Glow Brick will gently fade out while they go off to sleep so they end up in the dark totally naturally without anyone having to trudge out of bed to switch the lights off at some ungodly hour of the morning!"

Mine's on its way. I'll let you know what it's like when it arrives. I'm a sucker for glow-in-the-dark stuff, and this looks particularly glowy in a cool, groovy sort of way.

I got mine a few days ago, but it hasn't glowed at all. How much light do you need to give it? I've placed it on the window sill, but I haven't noticed it glowing at all. Or does it it only glow for a little while!?! Seems to be utterly useless so far. :(

Doh. Do Play offer refunds in these circumstances?

Whilst not seeing one in the flesh (plastic) I'd personally expect these to be about the same as those LED garden lights you get.

One white LED in the middle, which gives out a dim(ish) glow for quite a few hours after a day out in the daylight.

I'd stick it outside (when dry!) all day, then bring in when it gets dark.
If it's not even glowing a bit then throw the thing back at em as it much be faulty.
