Do not get too excited. I went in on my way home and it was £9.99. May be an online offer only.
Quantity in basket: 4
Brahma Lager 12x330ml (4.8% Abv) Save 50% was £9.99 now £4.99 £39.96
hmm :(
Definitely not in store. At least, not yet.
Was forced to try this a while ago when it was dirt cheap. Mrs ND bought me some as "it was a bargain".
As I recall, a number of bottles went unopened into the bin.
Are people managing to get this online at the £4.99 rate? Not working for me.

Stafford sainsburys has 24 holsten export 257ml bottles reduced to £5.Think they are just getting rid of it as a line I had 3 cases leaving 5 cases.
Dont know if this is regional or just a branch offer.
Nicely chilled with a sliver of lime, this stuff is great! A lovely summer beer.
Cheers to the OP.

I used to like this but have gone off it. I almost positive that it was originally proper imported stuff, i.e. from Brazil, but now it's brewed in the UK - can anyone confirm?

I had the same. It gives you the offer price once a delivery slot has been booked. Well it did for me.

I have bought the odd mini-pack before, so I got some at £9.99 from in store and have tried a couple of bottles. It's absolutely rank, and far, far worse than I remember, like carbonated water that's been filtered through David Bellamy's socks. And the metalic aftertaste, coupled with the heartburn that it's delivering is making me dread every mouthful.
I'd save my money if I were you folks. I need to finish the 12 as I have a cardinal rule of not throwing away alcohol. Poor me.
Good beer or not, cheap beer or not - They have some funny commercials: http://www.visit4info.com/details.cfm?adid=18347
