best LCDs around the 26" mark?

Need a new tv for the bedroom and don't need anything too big.

I know next to nothing about HD, LCD, etc. It will only be used for watching dvds from a normal dvd/divx player. However, it'd be nice for it to be HD to give me the option of getting an HD player some time.

I've seen a sony bravia for a little over £500 - KDL26S2030. Are these good?

edit: This one is not for the bedoroom but will replace my 32" CRT, which I am taking, and the 26" will stay behind in it's place).

Sony Bravias have the largest overscan of any make. Id' avoid them for that reason.

The best to go for for pure PQ is Toshiba

Either go for the Freeview which is WLT or without which is WL

I bought an LG 26 LC2R for the kids to use mainly for gaming and I can't fault it. Cost me around £385 online
