The Adventurer: Christophe Gans, co-writer/director of "Brotherhood of the Wolf" talked about his next project, the adaptation of a Bob Morane adventure, to 13th Street. The story is about "a young French reporter at the end of the '50s in London and Burma, and he's fighting against a Chinese secret society that uses witchcraft". The script is nearly finished with shooting to begin in about a year - "We are going to shoot a part of this film in Thailand, and we must absolutely avoid the rainy season, so, you know, we will start the film in the fall". Many of the 'Brotherhood' crew will return for this even bigger budget epic. Thanks to 'SJR'.

and Vincent Cassel is to play Bob Morane...

I've got quite high expectations from this one as this time he can unashamedly have his fight sequences that won't seem as out of place as they did in the brotherhood... I still can't see what people are marvelling about with Gans but I suppose he's putting out an output that can rival Hollywood for pyrotechnics and still have a European side to it (and a strong HK side to it too!)...

Remains to be seen if he can pull together a great action film rather than above average...but it's looking good!
