Canadian PS3 - Quick Question

Hi Chaps

A friend is in Canada (leaving today) and has just texted me asking if i want a PS3 brought back. I know the games aren't region locked but haven't got a clue if the Blu-Ray/DVD's bought in UK will play.

Can anyone advise as need to get back to him quickly

It will play USA/Canada Blu-ray disks (and I think Japan too), and Region 1 DVDs. It won't play any UK movies (Blu-ray or DVD).
