LCD TV Question For the Mum's & Dad's

My CRT TV is on it's way out, Thinking of buying a LCD HDTV (Maybe Samsung) but i have 2 small children (Under 3) and was wondering how child proof the screens on LCD TV's are?

I'm sure they're as fragile (if not more so than CRTs).
A friend has had his 32" lcd for over a year and his oldest is 4, youngest 18months and hasn't had any issues.
Is it possible to place it out of their reach (wall mounted etc...)?

i went through this when i bought my plasma. look for a quite tall and quite deep stand and you should be ok.

mine is 600mm tall and 600mm deep - my little lad is 26 months and he still cant get to it. its called "Benno" and it was 69 quid in IKEA.
