I have this on pre-order from play for the wife.
There is no info and pic, sound or extras can anyone help.

No its the r2 version (it's for the wife) its only £11.99 from play but its not out untill 28/01/2002

in that case, no idea. Although it does seem to be from Carlton, so I wouldn't expect too much. ;)

I've got a Carlton version of this that I got in a sale. Are you talking about a reissue? The one I have is anamorphic (I'm pretty sure, but I could check if you want) and the transfer is fine (although I'm not too critical of these things). I've seen it around frequently in sales for a tenner and under recently - I think you could pick it up in HMV in their current sale if it's still on.

On play they have it down as Strictly Ballroom (Special Edition) It also has a fancy new cover with the words COLLECTORS EDITION. along the bottom.

So it must be a new version hopefully as good as the R1.
