Walked into Poundworld today and found they had some 'ixos' iPod shuffle cradles for £1.

They are designed for the 1st gen iPod shuffles, basically just a stand with a USB port on the top. This then connects to your computer and enables you to sync up! (I also connected a iPod data cable through the USB port and then connected the cradle to the computer and it picked up the iPod fine!)

Nice cheap way to sync your iPod without having to dig round the back of the computer every time, and you can't complain for the money

Sounds ideal, whereabouts are you John? I don't think we have a Poundworld 'round these parts. Tried googling, but no joy.

I know there is a Poundworld in Nottingham but don't know where else they are in the country. Not been in yet to see if they sell the chargers yet though.

I'm in West Yorkshire, they were hidden alongside the USB leads and such.

Here is a pic:

The blue LED really IS that bright by the way! :)

giger/Johnr - if you happen to be passing one or going anyway, any chance of picking one up for me? I'll give you 100+% profit on it :D

It looks just right for my daughter's ipod :)

Looks like it could also be handy for other USB dongles like wi-fi adaptors, tv tuners, memory sticks, etc?

Saw it today in a 99p store.
It is simply a USB extension cable with a bracket on the end, but I can see how it might be useful.
