Where is the best (cheapest/fastest) place for buying non pre-order R1 DVDs individually? I have used dvdboxoffice and dvdimort before and they can be pretty slow, and play247 and ********* don't always have what I want.

Check out AB Sound (http://www.absound.ca/music/dvd/dvd.html) - close to unbeatable on R1 DVDs

I'll second absound (www.absound.ca). Very cheap and quick if in stock. The website will tell you if it is in stock or not unlike many other websites.

What are AB sound like for boxsets via customs.

I fancy Berverly Hills Cop triple pack and also Die Hard Ult Col.

Will these babies get caught.

Probably, but they'd also have a hefty delivery charge on them. I think the 6DVD Die Hard set costs about $40CAD to ship!

AB Sound always declares the exact value of your order (excluding shipping) so anything over $40 (i.e. £18) may get hit by customs. I'm going get my Die Hard boxset from ********* (£40 delivered).

jeddie, HMV Canada is the cheapest for Die Hard:UC if you use the coupon in the Die Hard thread in Region Comparisons, or in deals and bargains. Comes to $C69 shipped (30 quid) provided you have another title in mind.
