I know some people will mistakenly like him, but he's allways annoyed the heck of of me with his rubbish all songs sounds the same wine bar funk.
Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has announced he’s quitting music after splitting with his record label.
The singer says he was frustrated whilst working with SonyBMG on his most recent album, and he’s lost his inspiration.
Speaking to The Mirror, he admitted, "I haven't been happy there for a while. I've had some ups and downs but in the end the downs were just too many. When we talked about me leaving, I jumped at the chance.
The singer – who has sold 27 million albums with Jamiroquai, said he may be back "I might be back if I get my inspiration again, but who knows. I don't know what to do next.”
Jay Kay, who is said to be worth £40 million, said "I'm bored. I don't want to go back on the road. We all need a rest to be honest. I don't need the money or the deal."
Jay Kay says he feels the time is right now to settle down and find himself a woman, "All I'm going to do now is fly my helicopter and look for the right lady to have children with. I feel free and I want to find love.
"My guitarist has just had a baby girl and made me realise how much I want one. I'm not ready to tie the knot though, because I don't want to lose my house."
Scarey news for the women of the world though.

I'd like to believe it were true but I don't trust him. I seem to remember OCS promised to go away but it was all just lies....

Let's hope the aroogant tosser never bothers us again. One of my favourite clips of all time was when he was nutted by a photographer outside a nightclub :clap:

Typical reaction as well 'let me at 'im, let me at 'im' - you'd be guaranteed if there were no bodyguards there, he'd have sloped off on his own instead of trying to get back at the guy that nutted him

What does that mean? If he hears a Stevie Wonder record he hasn't ripped off yet? What an absolute ******. That video really boiled my *******.
That is without a doubt the best video ever.
I've always disliked Jay Kay, the man is a horrible little sod and his music's ****. You could near enough hear the cheering in that video :lol:

hm. Think I'd count myself a (minor)fan of Jamaroqui, but its a shame song music is pushing performers out of the industry (again).
The video didn't go far enough for me. I still have the nagging feeling that he wasn't crushed enough- he was still cocky at the end.

For those that find his face annoying (as I also do), spare a thought for me and the day I saw him riding around Knightsbridge on a Segway, his level of titheadedness was multiplied by about ten that day.

Total nob. I remember him asking the crowd at the Jazz stage at Phoenix if anyone could sort him out with some 'mushrooms'. Total silence and one or two **** offs.. :lol:

How the hell do you come up with that. I personally don't like the idea of pap photography, but they're just doing their job - JK and his minder took it upon himself to verbally abuse the **** out of this guy, which was totally out of order.
Frankly, I'm amazed it took him that long to lamp the spoiled little prick. I'm not one to condone violence, but by god, that headbutt is an absolute cracker to watch.
