 I'm looking forward to it! Am hoping to get tickets for the Saturday in Manchester..
Wonder what the chances of a pre-sale are...??! Anyone know?! (or care!)
Dates are:
BIRMINGHAM NEC - Fri 16, Sat 17, Mon 19 & Tue 20 November
GLASGOW SECC - Thur 22, Fri 23 & Sat 24 November
NEWCASTLE Metroradio Arena - Mon 26 & Tue 27 November
LONDON O2 Arena - Thur 29, Fri 30 November & Sat 1, Mon 3, Tue 4 December
MANCHESTER MEN Arena - Mon 10, Tue 11, Thu 13, Fri 14, Sat 15, Mon 17, Tue 18 & Wed 19 December
I care. I care in as far as:
1. I'm sick of Mrs. Hulljim going on about it already.
2. I've been tasked with getting tickets.
3. She'll be out for the night meaning I can play poker.
4. If I can get tickets, they are basically sex vouchers.
Any help appreciated!!
Surely with soooooo many dates being announced straight away (8 in Manchester alone!) there will more than enough to go around for those trying on Friday morning?

My emails aren't coming through but no sign yet - all the usual suspects aren't promoting a pre-sale.
Does anyone know prices/how many tickets per person?
Ta
My mate, whose girlfriend works for Seetickets, reckons no pre-sale, a predicted total of 12 Manchester gigs and £45 tickets.
Ultraviolet
01-03-2007, 00:11
On the MEN website it says a maximum of 6 tickets per person for all dates, and prices of £45 and £25...
Someone on another forum reckons they have a link for a presale, but doesnt know if it will go live or not until tomorrow.. They havent given the link though.
Keep us posted Ultra

What a surprise the presale never happened! Damn! Have to get up early tomorrow now... my days are long enough at the moment with a broken ankle!
Just hope I get tickets... Not sure how to go about it...I've registered my card details with ticketmaster, but I know all the ticket sites will crash at 9am!
Get your refresh finger ready!

I believe it's what used to be the Millennium Dome, so Docklands area.

02-03-2007, 00:17
Yeah, 25,000 seats, in a brand new building inside the dome.
http://www.theo2.co.uk/
Not seen a formal seating plan anywhere yet but it is a fairly standard long / thin / tiered arena much like Earls Court.

Good luck to everyone trying to get tickets :) I'm going to bed in a few mins... Am being extra sad and setting my laptop up ready for the morning... Gonna have IE already open on the usual suspects pages, and am also sticking the numbers in my phone ready for redial! Think I'll need an extra hand though!!

Just been looking at the floor planner for the O2 arena. Does anyone know whether the A B and C blocks (marked in red) are standing or seated? Looking to book for the wife but she would hate to stand all through a concert as she's not very tall :D
O2 Seating Chart (http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/seatingchart/148822/11347)
Yeah, 25,000 seats, in a brand new building inside the dome.
So a total of 125,000 tickets for London alone?
Surely everyone who really tries will get a ticket this morning? Unless the ebay brigade have really got their act together!

Surely they must have to tell customers where they are sitting prior to sending out the tickets!
We must be able to call them when the dust settles to find out
Hmm - I did notice that there was no indication of where you're sitting, despite being able to check the seating plan. Usually get seat numbers/rows from Ticketmaster but that was a bit futile this morning.
I'm getting these for a friend who's not around today (honest!) so I did say I'd get her a parking ticket later on - I've also just noticed it's £20! That's ****** vertical.....

Earlier on (at 1:30ish), Ticketline.co.uk had a list which stated you could book tickets for all venues.
They even had front block seats listed for Newcastle. However, I registered for the site, chose the tickets and the quantity, entered the credit card details, and then the site went blank when I pressed proceed to the final stage of the order.
Since then, its been down, and I have emailed them (and await a response) to see whether the order actually went through and/or whether they have charged the credit card. :suspect:
However I did a search on here, and Ticketline.co.uk seem quite a reputable/decent company going off others comments - so I'm sure they'll respond, and let me know if the order was placed or not, and refund if the card was charged, and they dont actually have any tickets left.
Don't hold much hope for getting them though, from anywhere now.
Theres a pair (two tickets) of Newcastle Tickets for sale on ebay at over £400 already!!!! :cuckoo:

Anyone who missed out should keep checking the tickets sites as arena gigs always hold back a certain number of tickets for sale later. With the amount of shows they are doing tickets will probably be going for less than face value in the weeks leading up to the show.

There are other ways for people to get "ungettable" tickets for far less money than that.

What's with all the blokes on this thread pretending the Take That tickets are for their wife and or girlfriend. There is no shame in men going to these concerts. Of the 23,000 people at each O2 night for example, at least 15,000 will be under dressed, high-heel and silly hat wearing, slightly tipsy, 20-something women out for a good night. These sort of concerts are always worth going to, just to look at the audience :D

There are more on sale now at seetickets if anyone is interested.
We got 4 tickets through Seetickets at the MEN Arena for 18th Dec show and this afternoon, by looking at their ticket tracker, we've been allocated our seats.
We bought the £45 seats and have been allocated Block 204 on the upper tier (granted they are front row of that block, but even still).
Does anyone know what the distinction is between the £25 and £45 tickets, as I'm not too happy having spent £45 on a ticket on the upper tier. Anyone got any better seats for the £25 tickets???

I'm in block 213 row K  not happy at £50 each... Think the £25 seats are right in the corners, and right at the sides of the stage upper tiers... I bought my tickets about 9.10am. Maybe seetickets just had all upper tier allocations or something. At least I'm going...
Does anyone know how many rows there are in the upper tiers??
Think it goes up to row R at the MEN. 2nd tier can be a cracking view if you're close to the stage.
Mine's not displaying yet for the 23rd Dec show - they must be going through each date in turn...

I was sat roughly there for the last tour and the view was pretty good plus when they did the beatles medley on the middle stage (drops down from the ceiling) they were right in front of just just a few feet away.
Don't know if they'll be doing the centre stage thing again though.
Hmm - my reference just comes up as seat type 'Seats'. No mention of a row or block. It's for the O2 Arena though.
Same here - assume they haven't sorted that out yet... :suspect:

What's with all the blokes on this thread pretending the Take That tickets are for their wife and or girlfriend. There is no shame in men going to these concerts. Of the 23,000 people at each O2 night for example, at least 15,000 will be under dressed, high-heel and silly hat wearing, slightly tipsy, 20-something women out for a good night. These sort of concerts are always worth going to, just to look at the audience :D
 I hadn't thought of it that way. Wish I was going now!

As I posted before, o2 won't allocate for a while - at least that was the case with The Scissor Sisters :)

Just seen my seat allocation for 23rd December - Block 202 row K. Not the best, but could have been worse I suppose.

Is that from seetickets?

Indeed. I was trying Ticketmaster all morning as they normally have better seats, but I had absolutely no joy at all.
Got my seats for the O2, block 103 not ideal but should be a good night still.

Ah because my order doesn't tell me where my seats are

Jesus. I booked mine at about 9.05 that morning - for a friend obviously - and she said to go for the £45 tickets, so I did. Just checked the See tracker and it appears she's been allocated block 417 - in the UPPER TIER! I was kinda expecting to get floor seating tbh. She's got row A but even so, that's the higher priced ticket but up in the clouds......
I guess I'm not the one who's going and I'm sure she's just happy she'll be there, but that's pretty poor IMO.

I checked the ticket tracker and it seems my mum has been allocated block B3 and row T which is pretty good in my opinion. Definitely when compared to what other people have got!
Checked Seetickets tracker today for MEN Arena 18th - block 113. Marvellous.
Block 213, quite poor considering the price of the tickets

We have 4 in block 113 and 2 in block 214 at the MEN. £45 tickets as well.

You could always eBay 'em.

I may end doing that as my girlfriend has found out this morning her mates are going to a wedding now on the 22nd!
Bought 4 for the wife on Friday morning at about 9:30 for Newcastle. She got allocated Block B (floor seating) row Q. So she is really pleased.....I've been at the back of block C before and it still isn't that far back.

AI heard on the radio on Sunday when they interviewed the band after getting there number 1 that more dates are going to be announced.
Has this happened yet?
