I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with rechargeable batteries and their wii remote? I have some NiMH -1300 MAh that seem to work if you use them straight away after charging but if you leave them for a week or so they have very little charge, I know that this maybe down to the battery not holding charge but sometimes when the batteries are full there is no response from the remote so I take one battery out change it with another and it works but the funny thing is if I take out the replacement battery and put back the one that didnt work there doesnt seem to be a problem :?:

I used rechargeable batteries (NiMH 2300) and have no problems at all, they last for weeks.

Guess I'll buy some new batteries and charger then, any reccomendations on which ones are good? The 15mins express ones look good

I think the Energizer 15 minute charge with 2500mAh batteries are excellent. These power just about everything I have got that take AA/AAA.

I paid £17.99 from 7dayshop last year. The same model is upto £40 in the shops, so it is worth shopping around.

Not sure if this will be any good but I am tempted to go with this here (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://playcom.at/thedvdforums?DURL=http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/3320243/Joytech_Wii_Power_Station/Product.html) if my wii turns up that is. :)

Yeah I was looking at that earlier i would like to have it as it'll stop me from leaving them all over the coffee table but I don't think I can afford batteries until the end of march:P

Just been looking at charger option for Wiimotes, but customer reviews seem mixed with quite a few people saying their remotes have been trashed by them! (and not just one specific charger brand).

Anyone tried a dedicated Wiimote charger?

Though I have the glove thing for the Wiimote which I guess will not fit with these chargers.

I've tried 2 different Wii remote chargers and both were horrific. The remotes do not sit on them properly due to the straps. Quite often they will just fall out. Best option is to get a decent charger and 2 sets of batteries to fill the charger.

I personally use this (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=1219&id=30372&p=http://www.woolworths.co.uk/web/jsp/product/index.jsp?pid=50609841), but mine came with 2500mia batteries. The batteries last weeks. I always tend to have a set on charge. As soon as I take 2 or 4 from the charger, I replace them straight away.

If you're using 1300mah batteries then they will not last very long at all - especially if they are quite old.
