DVD US Marshals

I was reading some reviews of US Marshals R2 disk. (DVD times & R2 project)
They both stated that the sound format was DD prologic. I bought this disk recently and it has DD5.1.

Is there some sort of error or was the disk amended after the first batch of prologic disk.

I've recently got this myself - I already knew about the Prologic soundtrack mine has.

Have you tried out the disc? On the box it says it has a 5.1 dd track - but its prologic only. Doesn't distract from a great movie though :)

The original UK release was only DD2.0 Surround due a mastering mistake by Warner (case was mislabelled as DD5.1 English).

Sometime in 2000 Warner reissued (non-announced) the disc with DD5.1 English for use with a Toshiba player promo, then all further disc ships to stores were the DD5.1 version.

A few of the old copies are on shelves in shops (I have seen one in HMV recently)

You can tell which one you have because of DD5.1 version has (5.1) on the spine under the product number.
