Deerhoof: Friend Opportunity

Okay, so I can imagine most people on here would hate them but the new Deerhoof album is really amazing. I can't get over how much I'm loving it. They rhythms on the opening track alone are enough to set me grinning like a maniac.

I am VERY hyped about seeing them in May. Are there any other fans on here? Surely Lou must like them, beards or no beards? :D

Haven't heard it yet TGB - hammered their last fruitily bizarre download-only EP on my short-lived radio station last year, so will give it a shot later.

It's a lot more tune friendly than their teeth shattering support slot with the Flamming Lips last year would suggest but i don't think i'll be buying the t-shirt.

It's a great record, certainly their most accessible to date. I got it through on promo recently, so there'll be a review on CD Times sometime :)

Leeds based Forumites might like to know the 'hoof are playing the Irish center with support from Field music and some one else i've never heard of.

The rest of the Deerhoof tour dosen't have Field music as support.
