Will this be the unrated version as released in Spain or the toned-down R-rated US version?

There is no r-rated version, the one trimark eventually released was unrated, there are no cuts listed for faust on the bbfc website, so it looks good:D , it is quite yikky in places!

I am afraid that's not true. On festivals Faust was shown in an unrated version, but it had to be cut in the US fpr an R-rating (mostly sex scenes, but also gore...). And a Spanish website (www.dvdgo.com) lists the running time of their DVD as 101 mins.

this was discussed over at dvd review forums, and the general concensus was that the r1 is not cut, i have the disc {r1**,and i cant see some of that stuff getting past the mpaa, there is also no rating on the case or the disc,the runtime on the box is also listed at 101 minutes. People did compare it to the spanish one, and even they said it was not cut, so..... who knows for sure:rolleyes: . good crap film though:D

i have the spanish dvd, it actually runs around 97 minutes which would make it around 101 minutes ntsc so probably they are identical.

yeah, got my r1 from ********* too, £14 squids - cheapest i found it!
