View Full Version : Can we expect a Criterion of Traffic??

I've seen a few people mention (on various diff websites) that Criterion might be releasing Soderburghs Traffic. (Nothing official, just usual idle gossip)
I love this movie and would have tried my damnest to get the French version with dts. (bit narked about the french burnt on subs:mad:).

Anyone know the possibility it's gonna be announced soon???????/

Apparently, they've signed a distribution deal with USA Films, hence their supposed release of The Game in April, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility.

Although we'll likely have to wait until Soderbergh actually takes a break between movies for a commentary.

At the rate he's making films at the moment it could be a long wait! ( Ocean's 11 just about to come out, He now filming Sex, lies and Videotape 2 and will start a remake of Solaris with George Clooney in the summer! )

I hope that they revert to one of the original titles (The Art of Negotiating a Turn or How To Start a Hotel Room Fire ) as Full Frontal isn't what I'd call a great title.

On the other hand, if you saw a movie poster that said;

"Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, FULL FRONTAL"

you'd probably go see it, wouldn't you? :D
