View Full Version : Just finished "Just Cause"
and what a cracker it is... REALLY enjoyed the game after finishing saints row I thought iit was a long wait for something GTA-LIKE.
The game is VERY good and amazing GFX wise, I hear JC2 is in the works too
Played this on the 360 btw in high def... so thing is, whats next?, crackdown perhaps?.
Anyone else really enjoyed this?... the only criticism I have is that the last levels were too easy.
I wonder
Do i get to fly that Jet again?, the one I used to shoot down the missiles

Crackdown is my game of 2007 so far... highly recommended.

It seems to be hyped quite a bit. I read an interview with one of the developers, he was linking into SR and JC which is a good thing is thats the exact genre I'm enjoying ATM.
Hopefully its more of the same...... tried lost planet and whilst it seems a fnu blast, its not quite as good IMO.
Crackdown it is then!

I got bored of Just Cause about halfway through - it's mindlessly repetitive. I finished it anyway, but I can't imagine ever touching it again.

I stopped about 10 missions in. SOOOOO boring and looked really crap on the ps2.

I found the last 5 or so missions of Just Cause rocked with the very last mission ... hardcore (that's a mission).
However, the landscape was annoying, I dont remember a single landscape.
far too easy up to mission 10 or 11 - then it got annoyingingly hard.. gave up.. good game though - although from the demo, Crackdown looks better.

quickly got bored of the demo and deleted it. The lighting was good on the 360 but the character models were crap
Fantastic landscape visuals, especially from the air, great flight-model, fun grappling-hook & enjoyable main missions.... unfortunately everything else was very poor. Combat was appalling, car/bike handling was basic & the non main missions were incredibly repetitive. The game-engine is solid & in the right hands it should produce a cracker of a sequel.
I really enjoyed this while it lasted. The last mission started to annoy me, especially trying to jump between two planes.
I can't see the point of going back and collecting all the items, or doing the side missions though.

I really liked going round and getting territory on Just Cause but some of the missions were a bit hard and i gave up rather easily.

Picked it up cheap in tesco £17.99 for the 360 as I need a game to play. The game is ok but very rough round the ends. It seems the designers wanted to make a game where you jump out of helicopters parachute etc then added the shooting and driving at the last minute
