View Full Version : Zero Feedback buyers - No Payments
:brickwall :brickwall :brickwall :brickwall :brickwall :brickwall :brickwall :brickwall
i have recently experienced a surge in non-paying Zero Feedback buyers on Ebay. They purchase items and then would not pay or in most cases communicate!
In past week I have had 5 such transactions. Waste of time & money?
Has anyone else had similar experience?
Is there a way to inform ebay about this? -or-
how would you deal with this?
thankyou for suggestions & info in advance!

I've had this before, had 1 person not make any contact for 10 days, think a lot of these buyers don't check emails regularly and others think that by winning the auction they have effectively simply reserved the item.

Unfortunately there's not much you can do except reclaim your final value fee through the NPB (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=582776&mpre=http%3A//pages.ebay.co.uk/help/basics/f-npb.html) process. Next time only allow Paypal users to bid... drastically reduced non-paying buyers.

I was hoping there might be some sort of verification process in place to checkif these bidders are genuine or not!
I put on most of my auctions that anybody with 0 feedback is to contact me before bidding. If they do email you, it gives you a better idea if they're likely to pay or not. If they don't contact me, I remove their bid.

there are options available to block bidders without a credit card or paypal account on file.
you can also do it for users with negative feedback, etc.
