Having just tried to post in the existing Season2 thread, to be bombarded with spoilers and comments about episodes I have not seen (I've only seen the first two)...I have decided to start a UK viewer thread!

Bit of a nothing episode though, all in all! Reaaly enjoyed the first season, but this so far has disappointed me!

The out of body stuff in episode1 was daft...

I was a bit bored by the first few episodes of season 2 but it gets much better.

Watched episode 3 last night...Bloodlust!

Really enjoyed this...liked the idea that not all the beasties are bad...and that the Hunters can be the enemy!

Really am not sure what John whispered to Dean...it must be that one of them is not really his son..or something along those lines!

I was half expecting the 'slayers' daughter to be alive and him feeding people to her (especially after the comment about it being dangerous to travel with him).

PS are we the only ones watching this on ITV?

lol, i believe we are!!!!

Watched "Chldren shouldn't play with dead things" last night....I realise this is a fictional series, but blimey....what are the chances of a zombie being in the grave two along from their mum!!!!!!!

Plus the convenient plotting is starting to grate on me (i really want to like this series...honest)

I wonder what John whispered to Dean i Episode 1...I thought it was that Sam and Dean were not brothers, but Dean seems to of blown that possiobility by his outburst at the end of Episode 4!

I'm watching also - one of the better series of the past few years and certainly better than anything on ITV1!

If you remember the first series, it was monsters, monsters, monsters for weeks on end and it only picked up the main story arc about half way through. Looks like it might be the same this time 'round.

Main story arc alert!

We find the link between the Winchesters and the bar owner!

Nice story last night...

Last Sundays story used a real life american serial killer in the story line.

H H Holmes is said to be Americas 1st serial killer. More details here.

And anyone wanting to see the first series of Supernatural can do so for free if you have NTL/Virgin cable. See the on demand section.

can someone help me - only really interested in the main arc

watched the first 5 or so eps of S1, and although the main story was good, the 'come to town/go to the library/save pretty girl' got a bit dull

anyone let me know what specific episodes I should watch from S1 and S2

Hats off to the scriptwriters:-

Other Guy: My neighbour Mr. Rogers came at me with a knife

Dean: You have a neighbour called Mr. Rogers?

Other Guy: Not anymore.

Season 2 improves and ditches the exact stuff you list above (I pretty much used that word for word when explaining to my mates why season 1 was so daft)

Theres much better lines and interactions, and as far as I can remember no going to the library :p

Watch the last 2 episodes of season 1 and all of season 2

The first 8-10 eps of S1 seemed to be written so that if it got canned they could just show them in any order as fillers but it really showed class once it got picked up for its first full season and it has gotten better and better in S2.

I've been watching the US eps but catching the repeats on UK TV as (with all US shows) they like to have "breaks" just when things get interesting.
