Speed/Pitch shift software

Does anyone know of any good software to change speed and pitch on audio files? - preferably free :)

Been using GDT but wondering if there was something else you'd recommend?

You can do this in Sony Sound Forge, but it's an expensive solution. I'm not aware of any free ones off the top of my head, "free pitch shift software" in Google brings back loads of results.
