Haven't seen a thread for this so thought I'd start one. Been to 2 gigs already on this tour both at KOKO (Larrikin Love and Spinto Band).
Both were brilliant gigs and well worth the money. 12 pound for 4 bands (each had 3 supports) and people complain about how expensive gigs are!
Spinto Band were my favourite though. Rocking out to their covers of I Think We're Alone Now and Can't Take My Eyes Off You. And also discussing what London bus was best (apparently the 168) Such a good night
The Rapture next for me on the 28th :D
Anyone else been to any of these shows?

I wanted to get tickets for the Maximo Park
But instead I'm going to their Astoria show in May :D

They are truly fantastic live, if you haven't seen them before you're in for a treat
I've got Forum tickets too :p
I'll be going to The Long Blondes (20th - Astoria) and The Howling Bells (25th - Koko). I wish I was going to Maximo Park too as, apart from them being excellent live, they are being supported by the marvellous Blood Red Shoes.

I saw Blood Red Shoes support Metric a few times last year - they even brought their own pumpkin on stage on Halloween
I was taking hideous pictures last night of Enter Shikari and The Lost Prophets at the Astoria.
I thought both bands were rubbish and I got crap pictures so it was a wasted night!!

I saw The Long Blondes in Leeds on Monday - absolutely fantastic ; Kate seems to have grown enormously in confidence since I last saw the band a few months ago.
I also have tickets to see The Howling Bells very soon at the Cockpit at well ; their last show there was great.
I've got tickets for the Indie Rave date but am now working that day and won't finish till about 7.30pm so won't get there till about 8  Hope I don't miss too much.
Also seeing The Shins but gutted I couldn't get tickets for The Kings Of Leon and then felt ten times worse when I found out that The Hold Steady were supporting
EDIT: Just remembered, I got tickets for the Young Knives as well when I couldn't get KOL tix.

Do you mean Lostprophets, or some other band?
Lostprophets used to be a great band - they've now faded into some horrifically bland emo mess that stink of record label interference. Their first album is by far their best, and it's gone downhill ever since. The last time I saw them live, it sounded like they hadn't bothered to soundcheck, seeing as you couldn't hear the singer over the rest of the band.

I saw Lostprophets last december at hammersmith and thought they were pretty good live. Watkins interacted with the crowd great and seemed to have no problem getting them active during their songs. But each to their own I suppose :)
The audience loved them they just didn't do anything for me.
