If like me, theres people who have given up smoking but are now hopelessly addicted to the nicoteen gum, and baulk at the usual price of £18.99 for a box of 105 4mg gum, Boots (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p(4907)a(60823)g(38424)url(http://www.boots.com/guidedsearch/newsearch.jsp?searchArea=1&searchTerm=nicassist&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&uri=%2Fonlineexperience%2Fflexible_template_2006_publish.jsp&classificationId=1043920&contentId=&articleId=&N=0&Ntk=all&Nty=1))
are doing buy one get one half price on all nicassist products.

If you visit instore, they have little booklets that give a further 25% off, i picked up 8 boxes of 105 4mg gum today for a total of £40, to give a comparison, 8 boxes of regular nicorette freshmint gum would cost £151.92!

You can order online, for the 4mg gum you wouldnt get the 25% off that you get in store, but it still works out at £15 for 2 boxes instead of £18.99 you would normally pay.

Ive been off the ciggies 18 months, but with the price of gum, i was never saving that much, so fill your boots if your addicted to anti smoking products, or your thinking of quitting :)

i stuck patches over my eyes so would'nt be able to see or find the cigs but kept banging into things

i'm about to try the simulated plastic tube style cigarette as they were recommended by a mate need to break the hand to mouth habit so they may not work ( and stop sucking my thumb :dork: )
tried gum and hated it .

I'm lost on the maths - so £19 to start with, so you bought 4 at £19, then got 4 at half price, so 8 for (19*4+19/2*4) = £114, less 25% = £85 - how did you get them for £40 ???

They are on offer at £9.99 each at the moment. But you get buy one get one half price, so 2 for £15, but you get 25% off the full value of 2 - which makes is £10 for 2 boxes (within a penny or so).

works out at £5 a box.

Is this the same thing as Nick-O-Teen, the scary cartoon bloke from the anti-smoking ads in the 80s?
