Here's one of the funniest interviews I have read with a director of a major Hollywood film ever:
here (http://www.empireonline.co.uk/features/behindenemylines/default.shtm).

It's thanks to guys like Michael Bay and Dominic Sena… I'm not at all shy about saying it but I think they should be put up against a wall and shot. With one bullet, so one of them dies really painfully. Or Bruckheimer, whoever you want to pin it on. I want my money back in a lot of those ----ing films, I mean our film's no ----ing work of genius but we did try.
:D

looks like the commentary will be a good un' :)
respect an honest director is what i say, i don't care if their film is the best or the worst, i love hearing from a film-maker who just lays it all on the table and breaks it down from his/her POV, and not the Studio's etc... sometimes these commentaries/interviews sound like they're from politicians.

So, he is never going to work again then! If he does I betcha he does a bit of back peddling!
Remember when Jennifer Lopez was just a plain old actress and she dissed everyone (Diaz is just a lucky model etc.) She wasn't 'arf quick to backtrack ones she hit pay dirt.
what a great interview... :D

Great stuff - makes me want to watch his film now - imagine having an opening weekend against 'Larry Potter' ....:D
Now folks - THATS BALLS! >
I read on these forums that this flick was a pile of toss, but after reading that interview, he should be given ANY PROJECT he wants!!! That DVD will be a purchase for sure...
Any word on a release date?

A few years back he was a mere Clapper-loader.
I believe he has signed at least a three picture deal.

Hehe! On the strength of that interview I'm going to see the film.
Interesting, but from the sounds of it his film is as bad as a Bay picture, if not worse. I think he's part of the problem not the solution, but what the hell.
I might give the film a whirl now, out of curiosity - and I dont pay to go to the cinema, which is my only justification!
I'll report back tomorrow! :)
But thanks for the heads up on the interview, Cap'n
p.s. - this bit is an EXACT transcript of a phone call my cousin made to me on Sep 11th:
...it was like a movie moment. 'Turn on the television!'. 'Which channel?' 'No, just turn on the television!'
