According to Rewind the only difference, in terms of extras, between R1 & R2 is the DVD ROM features and the Infinifilm Fact Track.

Wassat then?

It displays useful(?) info along the bottom of the screen in captions if you watch it with Infinifilm on.

The info is not that great and as aextras go I'm not convinced it should make you buy the R1 over the R2

The DVD-ROM features are better if you are into that kinda thing. There is an option to watch the film and see the script at the same time. That doesn't float my boat but you might find it fascinating
