Just a bit  eBay at the moment.

I listed something last week via .co.uk and it wouldn't come up on a basic search on .com

It didn't sell. So I just put it back up via .com an you still can't find it on a basic search.

Can you put an item on eBay where it shows on both .com and .co.uk when you do a basic search?

Also, how do you remove and item? I'm fed up at the moment and not just want to remove the item.

I take it you only get charged eBay fees when an item sells?

Cheers,

you pay when its listed the basic listing fee (20p or so plus any reserve fees or pictur fees or BIN fees)

takes a while to show up in searches (4 hours or so).

remove item by ending the listing (first cancel any bids), thats in my ebay page.

i assume my auctions were listed on .com even though i did it for .co.uk as most bidders were US ones. i did put i shipped to america, perhaps that did it?

So I'll be getting a charge for the item that didn't sell?

I haven't had an email yet. I added a few thinks to the auction, so the charge was about £7.

you can check the charge in your ebay fees section - under unbilled items.

found this today, shows you the fees you'll get charged. may not be totally up to date with the new 9% dvd/games thing

Ebay have recently made changes to how .co.uk listings show up on .com, massively reducing their visibility.

They always charge even if an item doesn't sell....makes sense in a diabolically evil way :)
