Following on from my post in the Cool Toys thread from last summer I am selling some of my original Star Wars Drawings and Set Photo's. The storyboards are copies made circa 1974-1976 from the orginals and passed down with comments from George Lucas to help the filming. The photos are first generation copies from the negatives made at the time of production. See the description for more details on the 'original' items.

I clicked a couple of links and the ones I looked at are copies of original drawings:
"This is a mimeographed production copy of the hand-drawn story board"
or just prints from negatives:
"This has been blown from the negative onto thick photographic card stock"

Your use of the word 'original' in this thread seems misleading.

They are orignal production used.. Not copies of production used.My listing are very clear as to what they are and the provenance is impeccible with these items coming from within ILM circa 1974-77.

How do you think negatives are developed ? I am not selling negatives, although I do have some, they are first generation exposures from the original made at the time of production.

I have made things clearer for people who may not understand these things.

Now baring in mind that Elstree Props arent allowed to sell anything from any of the 6 films without Lucas giving permission in writing, how can you sell these?

As an innocent bystander, I also seem to think you are describing something quite different that what they are.

Yes they can and they do. Funnily enough they were selling a piece of the deathstar last week. The items they have had pulled from high profile auctions were due to them being removed without permission. I've bought some items from them in the past as well.

I suggest you check out www.propstore.com to see what can be purchased on the secondary market. They also have some of Jerry Greenwoods estate for sale. A lot of people are not aware how much of this stuff is available.

As you say, you are not knowledgable on these items, they are described as what they are exactly. Be specific , give me an example of what I am describing incorrectly.

If you look a the picture of this item the exposure process is different to a a normal exposure. I do not know what the technical term is so I have used the term 'Blown' .They take the whole framed image from the negative and develop it onto a heavy photographic card type paper. This is very different to a normal developed film. I am showing the difference between the two types of photo's.
