Any news or sign of this appearing on DVD?

I missed most of the episodes when it was on and from what I saw it looked very good.

BBC Ceefax mentioned a possible date of April 2002 before Christmas. Assuming HBO will be releasing the discs in association with Dreamworks, it might be fair to assume the pricing could be similar to the Sopranos boxsets at around £50-ish from the likes of say *********.

No official announcements that I'm aware of as yet.

I would be interested in this too, cos i watched the first 2 or 3 episodes then managed to miss all the others at some points during them DOH!!!

First HBO plans to repeat the series in March hoping to pick up more viewers this time as Sep 11 had a negative effect on viewing figures. I'd say the series will be out in either October or November.

HBO also didn't think that the US public would want to watch something that would remind them of a long war with high US military casulties so they delayed the DVD until late 2002

I managed to see all of them, It had to be by far the best War Drama I have ever seen. I hope it comes with the extras though such as the making etc.

I would love to see how they managed to do those special effects. Anyone see when they jumped out of the airplane?

There was a "Making of Band of Brothers" prog shown on BBC Choice but for some reason it wasn't shown on BBC2. It was repeated over Christmas and is bound to be on again some time so keep an eye out.
