i never know how long to sit at the end of a film (in the cinema) and wait to see if there is a little extra when the credits have finished. I usually do it when watching a comedy as i think they are most likely to have stuff (Bugs Life, South Park spring to mind). So what films have the best post credit bits?

As soon as the credits start to run, I do too.

Edit: Oh and to answer the question....James Bond with the "Bond will be back/return" line for giving false hope that they are making another movie which surely cannot be as bad as the one you just saw.

I didn't see Doofy and his vacuum cleaner at the end of Scary Movie until I had it on DVD and left it running.

best part of exit wounds is the tom arnold stuff in the credits, but that starts before the crowd have a chance to bolt, so i dont know if it counts :)

There is about a 90 second bit at the end of The Fast and the Furious.

I usually watch the entire credit run on films whether there is anything to see or not. :o

Lethal Weapon 3
House on Hunted hill
Galaxy Quest

Some amusing bits during the credits of Bridget Jones's Diary, which half the audience ended up watching from the aisles at the showing I attended.

Hmmm the ones i know about are:

He-Man MOtU --Skeletors head pops up
Babe Pig in the city -- The mice in the film say
goodbye
Small Soldiers (in the cinema at least)- some in joke at the end
Ferris Bueller -- telling you to go

Obviously-Waynes world and smokey and the bandit

Young Sherlock homes has The teacher turning out to be Moriarty (sp?)

Moulin rouge has somethin about love

Austin Powers 2 has mustafa whinghing about an ambulance

South park has ike at the end

Fear and Loathing in las vegas has a picture from the original art at the end

Private Parts has something doesnt it?

Ghost World has the scene where Buscemi and the guy with the bad tan and nunchucks face-off in the conveniance store, it has a hilarious pay-off which is totally different to the same scene in the actual film.

lol i now have to go through my dvd collection and watch a load of bits ive missed in the past. it'll give me something to do when i'm supposed to be revising!:D

Can't believe no one has mentioned Toy Story 2, with the spoof out takes. Thought that was very funny myself.
