Timetable

6 game deadline 14th Feb
12 game deadline 21th Feb
season ends 28th Feb

Rules

1. Matches are to be played on a home and away basis. I suggest these are played in the same session one after the other to keep the league moving at a decent pace.

2. The setting for the matches are :-

Matchtime – 10 mins
Injuries – Yes
Extra Time – No
PK – No
Weather - Fine/Random - Home players choice.
Player Condition – Random

3. The bottom 3 teams in the division will be relegated. The Top 3 promoted. With the 4th from bottom team playing a two legged play off against the 4th placed team.

4. If a player drops out of the league, any replacement will carry on with the leaving players unplayed fixtures. If no replacement is available, the leaving players previous results will be removed from the league.

5. If the connection disconnects during the match then you restart the match and if there was a player winning at the moment then you restart with him winning 1-0

6. If you are getting lag then let the other player know, with PES6 you can type messages in game so theres no excuse

7. Results should be posted here and on Bolch's site, you need to login to do so, if you dont have a login please see Bolch.

8. Anybody falling behind in playing their matches will be kicked up the arse by me and you will have me moan at you so much you will have no choice but to quit or play your games . A timetable will be posted in the 1st post of the season thread when ive worked it out.

Allowances will be made for holidays / work commitments if advance notice is given.

9. There will be no restrictions on the number of games that can be played in a week. However try to pace yourself so all your games aren't played in the first week.

10. There will be no room for trouble makers/time wasters, i will kick you out and as long as im running these leagues you wont be playing again. :p

11. And remember the most important rule of all, enjoy the game, have fun and NO BITCHING FFS :razz: :razz:

I cannot have this team, please let me change them. The turkish league is never on a par with the English Prem so how can Galatasaray even be considered an equal team to Everton, or the spanish league teams, the french league teams or even the scottish league teams. They are so **** poor that my hands are knackered so quickly from playing them. I thought we were getting elite teams, im very cheesed off and im not one to whinge but again I am feeling very hard done by. :(

I reckon playing watford would be better than this rubbish team. (maybe not) but in all honesty they are at least 2 divisions away from everton, porto, monaco etc. At half time every match I v played with them at least 4 players have hit the red on energy levels. I ve practised and really tried withem but they cant even score a goal. :|

Galatasaray aren't that bad. :D

Although you're right, Everton and R. Betis are probably the strongest teams by a mile in this pool of teams, especially in attack.

However the teams are much more equal this season than the last one. :thumbs:

used zaragoza tonight, not too shabby. a couple of reasonably quick players in ewerton and militio, with some firepower there too.

need to mess with the formation though. and Aimar is on the bench by default. (a definate no no)

If anyone can give me any advice about Celtic I would be very happy.

I have played Baps the last two days and, either Celtic are **** or I am **** (or maybe both). They just seem so slow to react to any loose ball :( I will put in a tackle but it will take my players so long to react that I hardly ever get the ball. Apart from a fluke game where I came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 with 3 goals in the last 10 minutes I think the only goals I have managed to score with this team are headers from crosses :( Can anyone help???

For me is a 3-5-2 formation (B2 I think, but slightly altered, see below).

I run it with with stock players bar the fact I swap Alexsendro (or however you spell his name) for Oscars on their place on the pitch (wide left), and then remove Oscar for Aimar as an attacking midfielder, just behind the forwards.

Stock forwards are amazing. Ewerthorn I was playing with on the 360 yesterday scored about 10-12 goals in 4 games yesterday - he rarely misses :D

i liked playing with celtic the way with them is balls to edge of area turn and shoot

also crosses crosses crosses that vengaloor bloke is good in the air



as for porto well i aint sure with default formation they are useless at the back


up front is a mixed bag really have 2 decent strikers with pace but accuracy is *****

then have 2 players with good body balance and heading

think it will be a case of see who i play against


keep trying new formations but always seem to end up short up front with players running in to the box

Had weeks off from the game (last seasons last league game was by last...seems years ago lol) and thought I would come back refreshed, but it's becoming a frustrating chore to play, and I could/should be doing things I actually enjoy (like *******)

If possible I'd love to be able to come back a few seasons down the line, obviously taking the relegation from my elite status as a given :D

I've had enough of this game as well.

I don't seem to be in control of my players anymore online and this is really getting on my tits!

Playing against non-dvdf members is a joke now, because of the excessive lag in matches and players play with the same old teams. Even playing against fellow dvdf members isn't the same any more as the game just feels lethargic.

The servers are always **** which doesn't help matters and this is another cause of lag in game.

It feels like I'm hanging on in matches now as I can't pass or move as my players feel stuck in the mud.

What the **** is going on?

I'll give a couple of weeks to improve otherwise there's no point playing.

I'm honestly fearing relegation with these - they have the stench of Malaga about them. Tuncay is handy up front but there simply is no other striker to play him with. Going to mess around with formations over the weekend to try and find a good 1 up top system to try and maximise them what I have.

i myself am in the same position as you i said right at the start of pes 6 and was just saying to matt this version dosent seem to have any fun factor its made for boffs who have to know every little detail to play well


i just play for the sake of it at the minute lol things that annoy me are

1. wtf does the keeper let so many shots rebound of him

2. why do the 2 cb enjoy running to the touchlines and leave a great big gaping hole in the middle

3. why does a player who uses the stick and not dpad have a disadvantage( you can very rarely do that quick turn with stick i get smashed with it all the time

4. why is the box always empty when you put a cross in

5. why do the attackers just stand and watch when u play a through ball then think hey thats for me then its to late

6 bring back the fast sprint i cant outrun or even catch anyone

7 why is baps such a fouling lag cheat lol


i admit myself that these shortcomings means now in the evening instead of finely tuning my team i am finely tuning my orcs and goblins into fighting machines to defeat the elves on battle for middle earth 2

as for a tight premiership i doubt you and 316 will be out the top4 relegation for me,matty wild and rawowl i think

lol i like to try and tweak a team and see how they play but its pretty hard to play against someone who just fouls you as soon as u get near their 18 yard box and free kicks are crap in this version so u dont get an advantage

I hear that mate, but it sometimes helps to play against Brazil/Barca/Inter as your league team.

Had some wonderful matches today that have really reignited my enthusiasm for the game - amazingly against the French, who seem by far the most sporting nation in regard this game - not won a lot by any means. but all were enjoyable.

Really was a marathon session - must have been the most consecutive games I have ever played :lol:

I started off playing well and then in the middle baps was on fire (he won 6-0 in one game :cry: ) then I improved a bit towards the end. Problem I seem to be having with Celtic is lots of possession in midfield but I just can't create enough chances (although part of the was down to baps hacking me down on the edge of the box all the time and then me wasting the free kicks :lol: )

Can't see anyway I will stay up this season.

Im sorry to say I am going to have to pull out this season. My home PC is having serious issues and I cant even turn it on at the moment. I may not get the chance to take it to be fixed until the weekend and then I have no idea how long it will take to sort out. Two very tight games. I must say I am very pleased with the results given I drew the short straw with crummy Galatasaray, no thrashing and the first game I hung on with 10 men. :)

Two close games, the only difference was the finishing of the Betis forwards. Second game Koba was really unlucky, deserved at least a point. Both my goals were rebounds from great saves by the keeper.

Very disappointed to have lost both these games. Especially the second game, Chopper got given a 'never in a million years' penalty. I saved it with a superb save (Im good at saving penalties - ask Bread) and Choppers gets a lucky rebound. I forget how the second goal came about but I know Chopper never deserved it. :lol: Must give up the weed. ;)

I thought I did enough in the first match to win, but maybe not by those many goals. The match seemed very fluid and responsive.

Second game not sure what happened. I just couldn't get going. Simple passes were not coming off at all and the game seemed very lethargic somehow. I didn't seem to have any response controlling my players.

First game I seemed to be absolutely on fire first 20 minutes, went 1-0 up and could have had more and then it disconnected. When we tried again it was like a totally different game and we could have played all night without anyone scoring. I had quite a lot of chances, and bob had some to but neither of us could score so I got the 1-0 win thanks to my goal before the disconnect.

Second game was better. I went 1-0 up in the first half although it still felt very lethargic. Bob pulled one back just after half time but two goals from Kenny Miller sealed it.

its just since ntl became virgin media and introduced this new package which upgrades everyone to 10 meg bb every man and his dog seem to be getting so with all these upgrades i bet there having to tweak bits and bobs somewhere

The name change to Virginmedia is just that. They haven't changed any hardware, systems etc, its still the same old ntl or telewest (depending on region) infrastructure. They've just changed to Virgin as they feel that Virgin's name is better in the marketplace.

When i was at my old house, my connection used to play up if the weather was cold or wet. The problem was finally traced to the box on the side of the house. It wasn't sealed properly, so moisture was getting in and playing havoc with the cabling.

I think I may have scored my first win in these leagues not too sure.
Either way I think im getting better. :|

First game I scored the first two goals only for nils to pull it back 2-2 during the second half but in injury time Konstantinou scored the winner! :notworthy

Second game nils scored first and held the lead until the 77th minute.

Yes good games there, was dissapointed to get nothing from either game not somethign i would normally say againts you.

Hell even scored 3 so while im going down i can take some heart from that result :thumbs:

Marcus won the first game with a well-placed dig from the edge of the penalty area and I managed to finish myself off with a crazy bagatelle style own goal off my shins.

Second game Levante were determined to get a result and once they sneaked ahead from a rudimentary cross and header, held on by the skin of their teeth.

Can't remember which game it was, but there was an excellent professional foul by Balde of the Bhoys which deservedly ended in a red card.

Ring rustiness (ooer) is getting to me, as I was punished for some rank defending first game with a great strike from outside the 18 from koba, Umit causing all sorts of probs. Sorted my system out for 2nd game and didn't have a shot compared to koba's 10 first half. Made up with six efforts second half and felt unlucky that one effort from Mustapha hit crossbar!

Well done koba, a desrved victory first game :thumbs: and it was deffo me 2nd half of the second game lol. :D Thanks for the games.

First game I went ahead early but Koba drew level with 20mins left. Made a few changes and got a winner with 10mins to go.

2nd game I was outplayed and certainly outbattled. Koba took an early lead and I thought I'd rescued a point with a goal 15mins from the end but Koba promptly went down the other end from the kick-off causing my keeper to parry straight to a waiting striker on the 6 yard box 2-1.
