Only asking as Currys website are showing them for the Currys Price of £598.97.
I know it's old technology now, but worth investing as a first widescreen?

/now to go back to the What is wrong with teenage girls??? thread.

I have the 32pk1 that cost nearly twice that 2years ago.
I think the dk1 has dolby surround and the picture is great.
It was the best aroung at the time but may have been surpassed now. Not at this price though.

I've had a DK1 for about 3 months now, and I'm very happy with it.
It's my third widescreen TV, and I think that even though the technology isn't bang up to date the actual performance is still very good. For the money it's very hard to beat.
It's only Nicam by the way, having said that, it does give a reasonably good audio performance.

It doesn't matter about NICAM as I have a lovely Marantz SR5200 system handling cinema sound.:D
