widescreen angel

just watched the first episode of season 3 of angel and noticed how the beginning credits was similar to the other seasons yet was in widescreen. i thought fox said that they had lost the widescreen film to season 1 so how come they still have the credits? :confused:

they didn't lose the widescreen master, none were made. Besides it's not too hard to re-render credits into another ratio.
