Bah! I relisted some stuff yesterday that hadn't sold following the last 10p day :(
Wish I had of waited 24 hours now.

If I end the auctions early due to items no longer being available will I get a refund of my listing fees?

These 10p days are coming around more and more regullary.

For the past month or so, a free listinbg day ends on Sunday, a new one starts on Thursday.

I think ebay are starting to struggle to get people paying their fees to list items, and I wouldn't be surprised if 10p listings become the norm by the middle of the year.

well some of the fees on ebay are stupid now, especially when combined with paypal charges and the possibility of chargebacks. If they simply had an option to accept payments ONLY from confirmed paypal accounts i would list a lot more.

I think you will find that they are not meeting there projected targets for the financial year end and since they are answerable to shareholders they are trying to drum up more listings to get in more fees.

As far as fees are concerned its now what you could consider extortianate high street banks dont "rip" you off as much as ebay and paypal - someone with some brains or cash needs to start another auction site then you will see fees coming down.

I personally dont use ebay as much as i used to for selling for this reason.

If you set up items now to go live on Thursday will the delayed listing fee (normally 35p I think) also be waived as part of this deal?

Bugger, I thought this was a normal 10p listing day not just for Buy It Now auctions. :(

Well EBay have well ******** me off with this one!
I listed some old speakers with buy it now and best offer, and they took my listing down at 00:58 this morning becuase I included the line:

"don't be afraid to make an offer as these need to go"
Given that I had it listed as Buy It Now and best offer, I can't really see a problem.
So now to relist without that line I have to pay a lot more. Swines!
