Should I use registered post or special delivery? DVDS sold for between £10-18

You don't need special delivery at that price, so you should just do recorded. You could just do normal first class with a certificate of posting as that will insure you if the item goes missing, although recorded will negate the possibility that they say they haven't received it when they have.

Special delivery will probably cost over £4 so that would be a bit excessive.

Some people say recorded is also a waste of time although in my experience its far easier to claim through the RM if something does get lost.

I had something posted 1st class go missing, and despite having a CoP the RM will not refund me until the intended recipient signs a form to say the item has not arrived. Of course I made the mistake of already refunding as I anticipated no problems, but now the lazy cow refuses to return the form

At least it wasnt that valuable.

The 'lazy cow' may, of course, have been lying, in which case she may not have wanted to perjure herself further!

I had thought of that, but there isnt anything I can do about it now. Suffice to say if it happens again I wont be refunding anything until I have been re-imbursed by RM first.

People like this are the reason I hardly use ebay anymore, except for the occasional 10p listing day.

Thank you Splobber and Welshmatt, thought registered rather than just first class, thought Special Delivery is a bit over the top
