Which are the best releases to get from S4 onwards?

I can't find any reviews of the R2 sets but I've found mention that the extras (from S4 onwards) match the R1 sets, is this correct?

Yes I think they do. I decided to get all R1 though as the video transfers are still better (I think the R2 suffers from being standards converted, at least that would explain why the image is that much softer and less detailed anyway).
The dvdtimes R2 season 3 review (http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=60319) shows the difference in the transfers from R1 to R2.
