I bought T2 from cdwow before Christmas and have only just had chance to watch it.
While playing the film 'jumps' back a second or two every so often!
On examination of the disc it looks like there are some cracks inside the middle of the disc.
Do you guys think this could be the cause.........

Added Piccy!
Anyone have any ideas?
By the look of things, the picture which you have posted, shows an area of the dvd which contains no data.

As phil says that area of the disc contains no data.
I can see what you think is a crack, but sometimes these can appear on the data area too, sometimes quite large and look like a cloudy area. I have been told that this is a minute seperation of the two layers on a dual layer disc, but should not affect playback.
Going back to your disc, the whole area around the spindle locator looks very dirty, have you given the disc a good clean ?

Cheers for the repiles Phil and Stu.
Stu the disc isn't as dirty as it appears in the picture! After I had scanned it in and I saw what it looked like I couldn't believe how dirty it looked.
I've had an email back from cdwow this morning and they are going to replace it anyway  . So big thanks to them.
