Why has Saving Silverman been changed to "Evil Woman" for its cinema release here?
hmm, it's a little odd! Is 'Saving Silverman' something like a pun on a yank phrase or something? Perhaps something that we wouldn't 'get'?
I noticed this movie on pre-order and stuff on R1 and didn't make the connection with the trailers I'd been seeing for 'Evil Woman' on the telly! I only noticed it's the same movie from the IMDB.
It looks like they changed the title to complement the trailer, which makes the woman out to be evil.
What the trailer neglects to show is that most of her ''evil'' actions were taken in self-defence.
Suspected this was the case when I first saw the TV trailer. Next time I saw it thought "there can't be that many movies involving Jason Biggs, Steve Zahn, and a plot to get rid of a girlfriend". Still haven't watched the unrated R1 edition for that matter even though I bought it ages ago. :(

I'm sure in the background, they've fuzzed out a poster, which I think was a Neil Diamond poster... Have they removed him from the film or something???

I wouldn't put it passed them. Maybe they will replace him with Eminem or something to make the film more attractive the the youth of today
