X Files Aspect Ration

Does anyone know what aspect the different series of the X Files were? I know early ones were fulll screen and later were in widescreen, but thats it. Thanks

Season 1 - 5 were filmed 4:3 Full Frame

Season 6 onwards was filmed in widescreen (most proberly 1.78:1 or 1.85:1). They saw how good the X-Files looked in widescreen in the movie and decided to do the series in widescreen and they can use it for HDTV broadcasts.
