I now have a "spare" DD5.1 speaker system after recently upgrading.

I was thinking about bringing it up into a small room in my house, where I have a 28" widescreen.

The system is a Samsung Max DN55 which only consists of the 5 speakers - no subwoofer.

My question is - will I get good sound out of it in a small room or is it not worth the hassle??

Course you will! You might be best without a subwoofer anyway, they take up a lot of room and make a lot of noise travel round the house when upstairs, lol. My dad goes mental with me when i switch mine on :D

I'm hoping to get enough some more speakers soon so I can do exactly the same sort of thing in a small 8'x6' bedroom I use as my computer/music room. You've nothing to lose by giving it a go.
