Wiimote Prototypes

CVG has a picture of some of the early prototypes for the Wii controller:

That star one is nuts! :nuts: The black one at the top looks like the negCon, the Namco PS1 controller, and the other black one looks very similar to the Wii mote. Very interesting if nothing else!

Yeah, saw these a while back. The star one is quite mental, most are ugly but the black one was obviously the direction they chose to go with.

The bottom-right one reminded me of the Dreamcast controller.
